Esperanza improves the quality and affordability of housing in our neighborhood by developing new family apartments and rehabilitating existing properties. Our properties are clustered in different parts of the Figueroa Corridor neighborhood and serve very low-income families. Esperanza creates community facilities within our buildings that reach beyond the walls of the housing development to positively impact the entire neighborhood.

To date, through the construction of new units and major rehabilitation of existing ones, Esperanza has completed nine affordable housing developments totaling 165 units.
