Housing Rights Center
The Housing Rights Center has two offices and multiple clinics in the Los Angeles area. Their mission is to support and to promote fair housing through education and advocacy so all persons have the opportunity to secure the housing they desire and can afford, without discrimination based on their race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, familial status, marital status, disability, ancestry, age, source of income or other characteristics protected by law. THE HRC offers services in the following locations: The City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Antelope Valley, Western L.A. County, Ventura County.
HRC provides a variety of free services and programs to residents within the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties including (1) housing discrimination investigation, (2) enforcement and impact litigation, (3) outreach and public education, and (4) landlord-tenant counseling.
