“There are powerful effects that social determinants can have on an individual’s overall well-being, which is why Kedren promotes comprehensive wellness at our Go-To Wellness Center. The center offers health education including medication management, problem solving, skill building, and behavioral modification support groups. Additionally, the wellness center offers social engagement and recreational activities that aid participants in effectively engaging in nature walks, as well as visiting community parks, recreation centers, museums, and beaches. Meditation, book clubs, fitness classes, and performance art are also offered at the wellness center as an alternative to physical inactivity. Wellness services in conjunction with primary and mental health care promotes the continuation of treatment and increases the likelihood of comprehensive wellness.”
